Start your assistantship carefree and take out your NIHDI insurance in good time.
As a recently graduated doctor, you are required to take out NIHDI insurance before the start of your assistantship. Within this contract, you will receive an annual allowance from the NIHDI, the National Institute for Sickness and Disability Insurance, in return for the fees you are required to adhere to as an accredited doctor, physiotherapist, dentist, pharmacist, speech therapist or independent nurse. You can use this benefit to build up a supplementary pension capital or an additional guarantee in case of disability or death.
